9. Sovereign Ten, LLC – Teresa Bowe
www.sensiblyorganicfoods.com
Sensibly Organic Foods was started because Teresa, the owner, could not find the foods that she needed to make her healthy. She was having an Adrenal gland crisis and needed to find organic foods, not just natural foods or whole foods. Chemicals have a great adverse effect on anyone ingesting them through foods. Finding the organic foods needed, from the entire food pyramid, in her local stores was very difficult. Sensibly Organic Foods evolved out of her search and she hopes is to make a wide variety of organic foods available to as many people as possible. At this time, the site is constantly adding products and welcomes your input/requests.

  • So there it is folks
  • .
  • Congratulations to Frankee Muller, the owner of A Thirst For Tea
  •  and to all the other honorees.
  • I was delighted to be given the #2 spot for honorable mention. It far exceeded my expectations and gave me a huge boost in determination. If a small company like my own, starting out on a shoestring and with some large physical challenges to deal with, can reach that sort of recognition in such a short period of time, that opportunity is open to many others with small businesses & limited resources, you can see results from your hard work and efforts. There are still opportunities open to all.
  • And especially Thanks to the Pea Chic organization,  it has done so much to encourage and assist women in business to succeed in areas that were closed to them not long ago.

  1. Congratulations on your honorable mention. I had already received an update re: A Thirst for Tea being the grant recipient. I am extremely pleased for you to be listed in the honorable mentions. This bodes well for you to receive a different grant, or may this grant for 2012! I had not realized you had changed your name. Glad to know. Will be ordering from you for a gift for my mother-in-law for Mothers’ Day this year. Praise be for your talent!
